From there, you’ll travel to the west bank of the Nile to see the famous Colossi of Memnon and visit the Valley of the Kings, where you’ll explore fascinating tombs. Finally, you’ll marvel at the stunning temple of Queen Hatshepsut before returning to the airport for your flight back to Sharm el Sheikh. Begin your day trip to Luxor by being picked up at 4:30 am from your hotel in Sharm el Sheikh. You will be driven to the airport to catch the 6 am Egypt Air domestic flight to Luxor, which takes about an hour.
Upon arrival at around 7 am, a travel guide will be waiting for you. From there, you'll head to the western bank of the Nile (Thebes West) to visit the Valley of the Kings and explore three fascinating tombs.
You'll then continue on to Deir el Bahary to visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut
And make a short stop at the Colossi of Memnon on the way back. After lunch
you'll head to the eastern bank of the Nile (Thebes-East) to visit the stunning Karnak temple complex with the holy lake.
Finally, you'll transfer to Luxor airport for a domestic flight back to Sharm el Sheikh. Upon arrival, you'll be driven back to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle.
